End of Assignment

What is the period of my collaborators contract?

Following the Swiss Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Employees, the periods of notice are:

  • 2 working days in the first 3 months of assignment
  • 7 week days from the 4th to the 6th month of assignment
  • 1 month (for the same day of the following month) as of the 7th month of assignment

If you would like to terminate an ongoing assignment, please confirm this to Manpower by email.

In case PMP should offer the collaborator a permanent position these period of notice will also have to be respected.

Contract termination

If you want to terminate a contract, please inform your Manpower team by email indicating the name of the temporary worker and the termination date (respecting the notice period).

Manpower will inform the temporary worker, terminate his contract and start the offboarding process for the given termination date.

 

Exit interview

  • Manpower will contact the Hiring Manager for a feed-back and deliver him a form to be filled out in order to establish the temporary worker Work Certificate
  • Manpower then organizes an exit interview with the temporary worker.

 

Offboarding

Manpower will contact the worker and the Hiring manager to define the off-boarding requirements.

 

If the temporary workerworks in an office:

He/she will need to:

  • Give back the IT equipment (computer, phone or other) to InteracT on the last day
  • Request to receive the cash still on his Smartcard (at the company’s restaurants), as the reception doesn’t have any cash
  • Leave the smartcard at the reception on his way out
  • Be sure to enter all the hours in EasyMission, so that Manpower can process the last payslip

 

If the temporary worker works in the Production (Neuchâtel):

He/she will need to:

  • Give back the work tools to his line manager on the last day
  • Empty completely his locker.
  • Put all the used work clothes in the Laundry
  • Give back the locker key to the Security Post on the way out
  • Leave the smartcard at the reception on the way out
  • Be sure to enter all the hours in EasyMission, so that Manpower can process the last payslip

 

If the temporary worker works in a Laboratory in the Production’s building (Neuchâtel):

He/she will need to:

  • Empty completely his locker
  • Put all the used lab clothes in the Laundry
  • Give back the locker key to the Security Post on his way out
  • Leave the smartcard at the reception on his way out
  • Be sure to enter all the hours in EasyMission, so that Manpower can process the last payslip

 

If you work in a Laboratory in the CUBE’s building (Neuchâtel) :

  • Empty completely his locker
  • Put all the used work clothes in the Laundry
  • Give back the locker key to the Security Post on his way out
  • Leave the smartcard at the reception on his way out
  • Be sure to enter all the hours in EasyMission, so that Manpower can process the last payslip

 

Assignment closure

After the last day of work:

  • The Hiring Manager needs to check any timesheets remaining for approval.
  • Manpower will close the assignment providing the temporary worker with:
    • The payment of his last timesheets;
    • The payment of any amount remaining in his holidays and 13th salary reserves
    • The “Attestation Employeur” for the unemployment authorities
    • The work certificates
