Paid Absences
Following the General Agreement you signed with Manpower, your temporary collaborator has the right to the following paid absence days for specific occasions (see article 28 of the general conditions).
Please not that these numbers are valid after 12 weeks of continuous assignment.
You can find here the different paid absences to which your emloyee is entitled; please be advised that Manpower will always require documented proof / attestations for requested absences (i.e. attestation from the canton for a changed domicile address):
- Employee’s wedding: 3 days
- Death of a family member living in the same household: 3 days
- Death of siblings, parents, grandparents and parents-in-law: 1 day
- In the event of a sick child, spouse or parent (living in the same household): 3 consecutive days per sickness (maximum 10 days per year)
- Paternity leave: 10 working days for a 100% position
(to consume within 6 months of birth, in one or several installments) - Wedding of a child: 1 day
- Relocation of own household: 1 day
- Military inspection: ½ day
The paid absence hours must be declared as “Zero hours” on Fieldglass timesheet under “Comment”.
Please note that an Agency Temp request for paid absences should be submitted to the Manpower team within 4 weeks following the event.
If this is not respected the insurances won’t be covering the Agency Temp Loss of Gain.
Occasional Unpaid Absences
- Occasional unpaid absences must be approved by the Engagement Manager.
- The absence hours must be declared as “Zero hours” on Fieldglass timesheet in the comment box as“Unpaid Absence“.
