At the moment I have a Student Permit (B), does this allow me to work for a temporary assignment through Manpower?

Since we are a temporary placement agency, even if you have a Student Permit (B), you will need to request an authorization to obtain a work permit.

If you should have a non UE27-AELE citizenship, unfortunately this won’t be possible.

I need to work abroad, what should I do?

Before planning a business trip abroad, you must first inform your Manpower team, who will ask you to fill in the form Application to remain subject to Swiss social insurance legislation during the temporary exercise of a professional activity abroad

This is only valid for travels within the EU/EFTA.

We would like to draw attention to the fact that there is no agreement between Switzerland and third-party countries on the maintenance of social insurance. As a result, we cannot authorize you to work from any country outside of EU/EFTA. In the event of illness or accident, Manpower’s insurance policies would not cover the case.
